What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I take the 32-degree Vesper on trips where every ounce counts. It packs down ridiculously small, the footbox seals out drafts, and the pad connectors keep it from shifting during the night. For mild-weather backpacking, it’s hard to beat the warmth-to-weight ratio.”
We turn to the Vesper 32F Down Quilt when warm-weather mileage is the priority and we want a sleep system that feels nearly weightless. Therm-a-Rest pairs box-baffled construction with premium 900-fill hydrophobic down to give us reliable warmth on cool nights without the confinement of a traditional bag. The quilt’s open design lets us rest naturally, while the lightweight shell and liner—both made from recycled fabric—keep the overall kit remarkably compact.
A draft-blocking neckline and perimeter baffles help seal out cooler morning air, and the insulated footbox maintains warmth where we need it most. Removable SynergyLink connectors secure the quilt to our sleeping pad for improved efficiency, keeping warmth centered instead of slipping to the sides. After long days on trail, the Vesper offers a comfortable, minimalist rest that recharges us for the next day’s miles.
