Description
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I’ve taken this pack on long day hikes with serious elevation gain, and the AlumaLite frame really helps distribute weight evenly. The load lifters and adjustable harness dial in the fit, and the RipZip opening makes grabbing layers quick. It feels light but tough, even when fully loaded.”
When the trail tilts skyward and the miles stack up, we shoulder the Skala 32L Backpack and keep moving. YETI built this pack to handle switchbacks, summit pushes, and long days above treeline, blending lightweight support with rugged reliability.
An internal AlumaLite frame works with load lifters and an adjustable harness to distribute weight comfortably, even when we’re hauling extra layers and water. Guardcore™ nylon construction balances strength and weight, reinforced in high-abrasion zones with UHMWPE fibers for added durability. The RipZip pull-to-open design gives us fast access to gear, while a vented mesh back panel promotes airflow to keep us cool on steep climbs. With thoughtfully placed internal and external pockets, it keeps essentials organized and close at hand from trailhead to summit.
