What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I took the Lithium 20L on a fast-paced summit day where I wanted everything accessible and nothing in the way, and the Contact suspension system kept the pack locked close to my back even on the steeper scrambling sections. The integrated rain cover saved me on a surprise afternoon storm, and I barely noticed the pack was there for most of the climb.”
Fast hikers know that the pack on your back is either working with you or against you, and Mammut built the Lithium 20L Daypack squarely in the first category. The Contact suspension system pulls the load close to your center of gravity and stabilizes it through uneven terrain, so the pack moves with your body rather than shifting around when the trail gets technical. At 20 liters there is exactly enough room for the essentials without any extra space encouraging you to overpack, and the streamlined silhouette keeps the profile tight and trail-friendly. The recycled nylon construction brings in PFC-free DWR coating to handle moisture on drizzly mornings, and the fit is shaped specifically to complement a female form for a more natural carry throughout the day.
The organizational details on the Lithium 20L punch well above its weight class. A large zippered front pocket, two side mesh pockets, and a dedicated hip belt phone pocket mean everything has a place and nothing requires digging. Lateral compression straps cinch the load down when you are running light, and the integrated removable rain cover tucks away until the sky decides to make things interesting. 3D EVA foam padding on both the shoulder straps and hip belt keeps things comfortable through long efforts, and trekking pole carry adds versatility when the terrain calls for it.
