What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“The Helinox Lite Camp Cot is the piece of gear that surprises people every time. At under three pounds it’s light enough to justify bringing on a backpacking trip, and the aluminum frame sets up into a genuinely supportive sleep surface that holds up to 265 pounds. The packed size is impressively small for a full cot, and the tension lock handles keep everything tidy when it’s closed down. If you’ve been sleeping on a pad and wondering if there’s something better, this is it.”
A cot changes the camping experience in a way that’s hard to appreciate until you’ve slept on one. Helinox’s Lite Camp Cot brings that upgrade to trips where weight and pack size actually matter. The aluminum frame keeps the whole setup under three pounds, and the packed dimensions fit easily into a pack or a duffel without reorganizing everything around it.
At camp it sets up quickly into a taut, supportive sleep surface that holds up to 265 pounds and keeps you elevated off damp or uneven ground. Tension lock handles secure the cot cleanly when it’s folded down, and the included storage sack keeps everything contained for carry. It works just as well in a tent as it does under the stars.
