What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I use this pack on days when I need tech storage and quick access on the move. The padded sleeve protects my tablet, and the waistbelt pockets are clutch for keeping my phone handy. The strapette system also makes heavier loads surprisingly manageable.”
We carry the Day 13L Lumbar Pack from Mountainsmith when our schedule jumps between town, trail, and travel. The bright interior makes it easy to spot small essentials, and the padded sleeve keeps our tablet protected as we move through airports or hop between meetings. When we shift into active mode, the waistbelt pockets offer quick access to a phone or snacks without breaking stride.
Once loaded, the Day Pack settles comfortably against us with breathable backpanel padding and adjustable webbing that tailors the fit. The Compression System lends stability, while the internal organizer pockets keep small gear sorted during fast transitions. With removable straps, external lash-off points, and compatibility with the Strapette EVO system, the pack adapts to whatever the day demands—efficient, secure, and always ready for the next step in the plan.
